The book of Enoch is one of the strangest of the books left out of the Biblical canon. Filled with goetic angels and demons, and visions of inconceivable lands beyond the sky, writers have tied Enoch into everything from archaeoastronomy, Astrology, Alchemy, the Kabbalah, and Gnosticism. In the middle of this is what appears (to me, at least) to be an operations manual for a Neolithic observatory, with rules for when to look for various celestial bodies through 'gates.'
Author
Richard Laurence (1760–1838) was an English Hebraist and Anglican churchman. He was made Regius Professor of Hebrew and canon of Christ Church, Oxford, in 1814, and Archbishop of Cashel, Ireland, in 1822.
Before the 1917 R.H. Charles translation of the Book of Enoch, was the 1883 Laurence translation. This is the translation that many of the prominent 19th century esoteric scholars read, particularly Madam Blavatsky. While it doesn't have as much critical apparatus as the Charles translation, it does have a certain poetry lacking in the more modern, critical edition.

Love this book, in-depth study with much more appreciation for God's Holy Word. It's no wonder God wanted Enoch to stay with him in Heaven because Enoch loves his Creator with his "FULL - WHOLE" heart and the words reflected on the pages will have you falling deeper and deeper in love with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I'll be honest I was sceptical and warry of reading anything but the KJV, but I ask God to lead these dead sea scrolls to me if he really, really wanted me to have them and then one day they all pretty much fell into my amazon kindle reading lap... directly... and for free. I found Tom Horn, Steve Quale and some other note worthy people relaying words from the dead sea scrolls and it just sort of confirmed my intution. Sooo glad I took that leap of faith, this book has opened a whole new appreciation for wonderful Heavenly Father.Product details

The Biok of Enoch was almost immediately downloaded into my reading app after I
purchased it.
I am very happy with my decision to purchase it.
