All points in a table tennis game begin with either serving or returning the serve. When serving, you have a huge advantage in putting the receiver on the defensive or perhaps winning a point outright without any further strokes. To perfect your service game, USA Table Tennis Hall of Fame inductee Richard McAfee offers Expert Table Tennis Serves, a mini e-book providing expert advice.

Expert Table Tennis Serves eBook Richard McAfee

This little book is a terrific introduction to the 'theory' of table tennis serves and how to execute them. Richard describes how to serves and how to use serves to set up points. He includes drills and practice plans for ways to improve your serves. This is a great book for folks getting started in table tennis and even for those that have played a few years who just think of the serve as a way to start the point.

Richard is a terrific coach and I great guy. I met him when I lived in Nashville many, many years ago and we even played in tournaments a few times. He's amazing knowledgeable about the game and it shows in this book.

This is an excellent resource for table tennis enthusiasts to study. I gives all the pros and cons about serving with backhand or forehand.
This book is actually the chapter "Serving" from Richard McAfee's Table Tennis Steps To Success. It doesn't even include the chapter "Performing Intermediate Serves". If you own that book, you own this book. If it was new information, i probably would have rated it higher (maybe write a chapter on advance serves?)
Not really relevant information, not really good advise on the serves.
If the name of the boom was "some drills for practicint common serves" it would be less missleading.
I don't recommend spending money on this book, youtube videos are better explained.

Just go to youtube and check other sources for serving target practice.

A Waste of money.
